We hope that existing regular visitors to our website like the feel and look of the new website and the improvements we have made to it. We also hope that new visitors will enjoy it.

One of the improvements to the website is the navigation to the equipment. We have a new menu on the left hand side of the screen which will easily, quickly and intuitively navigate you to the equipment/section you want to look at, with drop down prompts to the various makes and sections to guide you.

Another improvement, which will not show immediately, but will be shown shortly, is up to three images of a used item where previously there has just been one. There will be a main image and two additional images taken from different angles to give you a better idea and more complete view of all of the used items we have for sale.

In addition to this new navigation to the equipment, when you have found an item that interests you, you will also see navigational links on the right hand side of the images which will link you to related equipment. So, if you are buying a camera body and want a lens, you can simply click on the link shown to the right of the camera and you will be taken to the correct section to purchase a lens for it.

We have also built a new automated ‘Wants’ section on this website. We frequently get asked by customers to contact them when a particular items arrives in stock. Previously this was a manual process, but now we have automated it, so that when an item in which you have registered an interest is entered into our system, we will automatically send you an email telling you we have it available, including a link to it on the website.

We are currently celebrating 50 years of trading and in the New Year will, in conjunction with Amateur Photographer magazine, be running a special prize draw with a number of great prizes on offer. The top prize is a Leica M9 Ffordes Anniversary Edition body and lens worth over £6000.
